Property for sale in Spain comes in many shapes and sizes. For those of you that don’t know Valencia you might be worried about having a property near a riverbed, flooding problems and the like. For those that do know Valencia you will know that having a property near the riverbed leads you to the delights of the riverbed itself. In 1958 the river flooded and the city was devastated. Therefore it was decided to divert the River Turia around the south of the city and a new riverbed was born. Many ideas were put forward as to what to do with a now dry riverbed but the attraction of a motorway was denied happily and it became a huge park, a nine kilometre long park now. At one end you have the Parque de Cabecera with the Bioparc zoo and at the other the World Famous City of Arts and Sciences which leads you down to the beach and America’s Cup Port and Grand Prix track. If you fancy living in this maelstrom of culture, art and design then Valencia could be for you.
The flat featured here is a few yards walk from the Riverbed and just five minutes walk into the Carmen Old Town on the other side. It is an 85m2 flat with three bedrooms, two bathrooms and living room, fully equipped kitchen and a glassed in terrace facing south. On the eighth floor luckily it is served by two lifts. The flat could do with a little makeover but has central heating air conditioned bedrooms and living room and lots of light. It is the top floor and therefore although it is not an attic above there is a huge roof terrace which is effectively private as nobody else uses it.
Priced to sell quickly at 193000 Euros with a little room for negotiation this could well be a lovely base to explore the delights of Valencia city.
